The Future of Identity

For many years, identity access management has been a core concern of cybersecurity; however, new technologies are changing how these services may be supplied. Biometric authentication advances are changing how customers access protected services by using facial recognition, fingerprints, speech analysis, and other ways.

However, attack tactics are becoming more sophisticated, including phony pictures, sounds, and fingerprints, making this new technology vulnerable.

As financial, e-commerce, and other business service providers rush to incorporate biometrics to make their customers’ experiences as simple and frictionless as possible, increasing attention is needed to protect against exploits that overcome these new (and some not-so-new) technologies.

As the arms race between security defenders and attackers continues, we question the definition of identity – how can you verify you are who you say you are in the end? Who should be the arbiter? Where should the physical and digital worlds of identity intersect?

Join us for networking, expert talks, and live Q&As about the metaverse, going passwordless, digital identities, account takeovers, and other topics.
