NLIT Summit 2022

Who exactly gives the United States the scientific and technical capabilities it needs to remain competitive?

There are 17 National Laboratories run by the Department of Energy (DOE), each of which is home to a sizable and devoted workforce. This elite organisation is responsible for carrying out long-term scientific and technology missions for the government, which may include significant issues related to security, safety, project management, or other areas of operation. In addition, these coworkers meet together once a year for an event called the NLIT (National Laboratories Information Technology) Summit, where they address information technology (IT) and cybersecurity concerns that are specific to the national laboratory system.

The NLIT Summit is an event that takes place over many days and enables participants to discuss information management, as well as best practices, strategies, and approaches. Presentations, panel discussions, new equipment and technology demonstrations, and information exchange take place throughout each day of the conference.

The 2021 Virtual NLIT Summit was a big success, with over 850 guests coming from all throughout the DOE Complex. There were more than 100 firms in the industry that supported the event.
