[Livestream] Ultimate Code Review by Bill Kennedy, by Ardan Labs

This is a 1 day, 5-hour class where up to 10 people are given coding assignments that will take 30 minutes, and then Bill will do a group code review on each of the submitted work.

Description:

This one-day Ultimate Code Review class is for any Go developer who wishes to gain foundational knowledge on how to write better readable and idiomatic Go.

The class provides coding design philosophies and guidelines Bill Kennedy follows when writing code. Each student will be given intermediate level assignments to code where the instructor is available for help. Then the assignments will be code reviewed as a group for style, idioms, and readability.

• Frequency Rune Counting Problem

What a student is expected to learn:

Everyone is going to be mentally exhausted by the end of the day. The class will challenge every student to think about what they are doing and why. If you want to be a better Go developer, code reviewer, and designer, this is the class you want to take.

Before You Come to Class:

It won’t hurt to review the goals of each exercise but leave coding the exercise to class time.
