Denmark’s important infrastructure includes the banking sector. CFCS continues to evaluate cybercrime as a VERY HIGH danger to the sector. Cybercrime is growing more sophisticated, and sophisticated cybercriminal gangs are becoming more targeted in their attacks.

Cyber assaults on the financial industry can result in huge losses for individual financial companies and, in the worst-case scenario, a loss of trust and an impact on financial stability in Denmark.Compliance with cyber security regulations is becoming more difficult. Some of the most recent instances are GDPR, Annex 5 of the Executive Order, and DORA. It is also not possible to delegate such an obligation.
