AWS Community Summit 2020 Online

Due to the unprecedented situation we all find ourselves in it’s become clear that we’re not going to be able to hold the next Manchester AWS ComSum event on 23rd June, so we’re postponing until a later date.

In the meantime we’re announcing AWS Community Summit online! Join us on Twitch on 14th and 15th of May. Attendance will be free, live and interactive.

We’ll be live-streaming:

• Talks from the AWS community. CFP will be live until 10th April https://lnkd.in/dURzAh9
• Workshops (4 confirmed so far, covering containers, serverless, IoT, and ML)
• An Ask Me Anything session with our AWS Community Hero panel

Please submit your talks here on papercall - we’re interested in anything AWS related. Your talk can be a 20 minute session, or a 5 minute lightning talk, or a 3 hour workshop.

Running an online conference offers some really interesting opportunities to develop the community in different ways, remove accessibility and geographical barriers for speakers and attendees, and innovate on the way learning and knowledge sharing happens.
